This hotel is quite weird. I booked a double bed, but when I got there, they said there was only a single bed. It was 11pm, so I had to call Ctrip to handle it. They found a room. Finally, I found a room. I went upstairs and searched for a long time but couldn't find it. Two kind French people helped me find a room. The layout of the rooms on that floor is terrible. If there is an emergency, I will be dizzy for a long time.

Wij zijn al vaker gaan eten in het Parkhotel, voor familiefeestjes is het ideaal. Dus zo ook vorig weekend, met 18 man. We zaten in een mooi zaaltje apart en de bediening was prima. Echter, in vergelijking met vorige keren, viel de maaltijd toch een beetje tegen: we hadden gekozen voor de Chef’s menu aan 65€ en een forfait van 30€ per man voor de drank. Ik vond het allemaal nogal minimaal voor dit bedrag: een enkel glaasje aperitief, met een loempiatje. Porties van het eten aan de kleine kant en eerder eenvoudige gerechten. Het dessert was een ontgoocheling: koude sabayon, leek meer op een bolletje vanille ijs. En tot slot één enkel kopje koffie. Al bij al veel geld voor wat we gekregen hebben. Jammer!

The hotel itself is lovely but the room i was given really wasn't great. We were told we'd been upgraded but compared with other occasions I've stayed at the hotel, it really did not feel like an upgrade. My room had a smell to it emanating from the bathroom - almost like a mild sewage smell. By the time i went into the bathroom and essentially released the smell into the room I was already unpacked and didn't want the hassle of moving.
The shower was incredibly difficult to turn on - the knobs would barely turn. When you did get them moving you couldn't adjust the heat at all so was scalding hot.
The double bed was possibly the smallest i have ever seen in a hotel. It was like a single and a half.
